How it works

How it works

Your borrower uploads documents on your branded page. TheBrokerMate reads them, files them by client, and the details go to your Finmo deal. Here’s each side, step by step.

Step by step

Your borrower’s side

What your borrower does. It takes a few minutes, from their phone or computer.

  1. Step 2: Open it on their phone, no account needed

The page carries your name, colours and contact details. There’s nothing to sign up for.

    • Borrowers upload on a page with your brand
  2. Step 3: Upload photos or PDFs

They take photos of paper documents or pick PDFs they already have.

    • Borrowers upload on a page with your brand
  3. Step 4: See that each file was received

The page confirms the upload, so they know their documents reached you.

    • Borrowers upload on a page with your brand

Your side

The same six steps as the story on the home page, from a pile of documents to a filled-in Finmo deal.

  1. Step 1: Documents arrive from every client

Pay stubs, T4s, notices of assessment, bank statements and more, for all your clients, in any order.

  2. Step 2: Each one lands with the right client

You send each borrower a link to your branded upload page, so every document arrives attached to the right client.

    • Borrowers upload on a page with your brand
    • A private upload link for each borrower
  3. Step 3: The figures are read and filled in

Employer, gross pay, balances, purchase price and more are pulled out of each document into the client’s application.

    • Documents are read for you
  4. Step 4: Filed in a folder for each client

Each application and its documents stay together in your workspace, one folder per client.

  5. Step 5: Get an email, check the figures, approve

You’re emailed when documents arrive. Check each figure, fix anything read wrong, then approve.

    • You hear when documents arrive
    • Nothing goes to Finmo until you approve it
  6. Step 6: Sent to your Finmo deal

Borrower details, income, assets, liabilities and the documents go to the client’s Finmo deal. You submit from Finmo, just like today.

    • Borrower details go straight to Finmo

Sample data. Fictional people and companies.

What happens to borrower documents

Uploaded documents are stored in cloud storage and read by an AI service so the key fields can be pulled out. The details, and the documents themselves, are then sent to your Finmo deal.
